To play music to his audience is the only thing Toots Thielemans wants in his life. This recording is a feast for the ears and eyes and very touching indeed!

Toots Thielemans - Belgium's most celebrated jazz musician - composed and recorded the jazz standard "Bluesette" in 1962, with lyrics added by Norman Gimbel the song became a major worldwide hit. He has performed on many film scores, such as Midnight Cowboy, The Getaway, Sugarland Express and Cinderella Liberty. Toots has played concerts and made recordings with leading jazz and pop stars, such as George Shearing, Ella Fitzgerald, Quincy Jones, Bill Evans, Jaco Pastorius, Natalie Cole, Pat Metheny, Paul Simon and Billy Joel.
